Tiimo vs Structured: which ADHD planner should you pick?
Both plan your day visually, but they suit different brains. Free versions, AI, price and platforms, compared honestly.
I built Ormy, a different kind of app, so I'm not neutral. Everything about Tiimo and Structured here comes from their own App Store pages and help pages, checked on 14 October 2026. If something has changed, email me and I'll fix it.
What is Tiimo?
Tiimo is a visual planner and to-do app made for people with ADHD and other neurodivergent brains. You lay your day out as a colour-coded schedule, and its AI co-planner helps you create, prioritise and plan your tasks.
It has a focus timer and widgets for your Home Screen and Lock Screen. It syncs with Apple Calendar and Reminders, and can bring in Google and Outlook calendars too. You can share it with family, with up to five profiles.
Apple named Tiimo iPhone App of the Year at the 2025 App Store Awards. It's an Editors' Choice, with a 4.6 rating from over 21,000 people on the US App Store.
The free version is a basic planner with a limited number of AI chats. Tiimo Pro unlocks the full app and the web version.
What is Structured?
Structured is a visual day planner. You drag your tasks and calendar onto one timeline, so you can see your whole day at a glance.
The free version gives you the timeline, an inbox for quick ideas, a focus timer, widgets and Live Activities. Structured Pro adds your calendars and Reminders, recurring tasks and routines, AI that drafts your day, and Replan, which moves missed tasks for you.
It's an Editors' Choice too, with a 4.8 rating from over 160,000 people on the US App Store.

Which one should you pick?
Pick Tiimo if:
- You want an app made for ADHD and other neurodivergent brains
- You get stuck starting big tasks, and want help planning them
- You like a colourful, visual way of seeing your day
- You want to share it with family
Pick Structured if:
- You want your tasks and calendar on one clean timeline
- You want the timeline, focus timer and widgets without paying
- You'd rather pay once than subscribe
Not sure? Try both. They're both free to download. Plan tomorrow in each, and see which one you actually open again.
What if planning isn't your problem?
This is the question I had to answer for myself.
I downloaded Tiimo and Structured and had a look. They're planners: you open them and build your day. But planning was never my problem. I'd set a reminder, swipe it away, and forget anyway. I wanted something that would keep on top of me, not notify me once and move on.
Kyle Ormesher, founder
So I built Ormy. It's a reminder app, not a planner. You tell it once, and it comes to you.
- It reminds you until it's done. Ormy nudges you every few minutes, for up to an hour, until you tick it off.
- Still ignoring it? It rings. For the things that really can't slip, Ormy can ring a real alarm, even on silent or in a Focus. (Needs iOS 26 or later.)
- Big dates get warnings first. A birthday gets warnings from two weeks out, so there's time to buy the card.

Ormy works fine next to Tiimo or Structured. Plan your day in one, and let Ormy chase the few things that really can't slip. It's iPhone only, and coming soon.
Questions people ask

Can I use Tiimo or Structured on a computer? Yes. Both have a Mac app and a web version that works in any browser, including on Windows. Tiimo's web version needs Pro, and Structured's is still in beta.
What if I plan my day and still forget things? Then a planner might not be what's missing. A reminder app that keeps reminding you until it's done, like Ormy, fixes a different problem. It's coming to iPhone soon. Join the waitlist at getormy.com and you'll get an email the day it's out.
